Emergency Preparedness Information Session

Be Prepared. Stay Connected. Build Community Resilience. Join us for a free Emergency Preparedness Information Session designed to help community members better understand local emergency risks and learn practical steps to prepare for emergencies. This information session is delivered in partnership with WA Police Force (WAPOL), State Emergency Service (SES), and Australian Red Cross, bringing together expertise from emergency response and community support organisations to help build a safer, more resilient community. Session Covers & Outcomes Participants will learn about local hazards and emergency risks, how to develop a personal or household emergency plan, prepare an emergency kit, and access available emergency and community support services. By attending, attendees will improve their knowledge and confidence to plan and prepare for emergencies, strengthen connections with emergency and support services, and contribute to building stronger community networks and resilience. Date: 16th September 2026 Time: 10.30am - 11.30pm (Registration starts at 10.15am) Location: Manning Senior Citizens Centre 3 Downey Dr, Manning WA 6152 Cost: Free Morning Tea: Complimentary morning tea will be provided.
