Grassroots has a bright future in Australian comedy" - Comedy Central ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "It is better than any ‘best of’ shows at FRINGE" - Fringe Festival's own magazine, FringeFeed 2023 "Great room!" - Mark Normand, USA (Netflix, Comedy Central) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Wall to wall comedy at this show. A jam-packed dead to rights laugh factory. Experimental Comedy is the number one place to see comics ply their trade and test their new material” - FringeFeed 2022 Perth's only Experimental Comedy Club, where local, national and international comics try out new material. You could be witnessing the magic of a joke that could eventually appear on a future Netflix special! You get you say you saw it first (and maybe last!). Be the judge through your laughs, gasps and concerned silence...It really is an emotional rollercoaster! For the value for money you get on the night, we're bringing #TightArseTuesday back, as Experimental Comedy Club is THE best night out mid-week in Perth. Hosted by a professional comedy MC, this is Perth's best bang-for-buck comedy show featuring over a dozen comedians with a variety of styles and backgrounds. We have hosted some amazing touring comedians - Mark Normand (US), Tom Ballard, Stephen K Amos, Lars Callieou, Ivan Aristeguieta, Chris Franklin, Sami Shah, Jacques Barrett, Fiona O'Loughlin, Dilruk Jayasinha, Jason Leong, Arj Barker, Takashi "Waka" Wakasugi, Harley Breen, Dane Simpson, Xavier Susai, Luke Kidgell, Lewis Spears to name a few. You never know who might pop in! Are you a comedy afficianado or thinking of dabbling in the dark art and seeking stage time? ECC is the hub for the local comedy community, a great place to network and meet and greet fellow performers. We even had a real marriage proposal happen on stage....You think we're kidding? Check out the photo below! Johnny Fox's/Lynott's Lounge in Northbridge, Perth's premier live entertainment venue. Enjoy plenty of beers on tap, cocktails and food during the show! The team at Grassroots Comedy definitely have your Tuesday evening covered!
