Contact Us | Greenhouse Education CLICK HERE GREENHOUSE EDUCATION Early Childhood Education and Care CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care This course is recommended for you if you have aspirations to move into a role where you will be directly caring for children in an Early Childhood Education and Care Setting. ​ As the foundation qualification for all Childcare Professionals it is an essential stepping stone to a meaningful career for people with a natural affinity and interest in the development and education of young children. ​ This course encompasses child development, the importance of Educator and family partnerships, and develops a sound knowledge of the major curriculum learning areas. It will provide you with the practical experience and theoretical knowledge required in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting. There are two ways you can complete this course, either through; • Face-to-face classroom based training, or • Workplace based traineeship Classroom Training Workplace Traineeship • 37 weeks of classroom learning for 2 days per week, plus; • 160 hours of work experience at your own pace (i.e 160 hours / 30 weeks = 5.3 hours per week) We use a rolling intake so classes start every few weeks.
