Remembrance Day at ANZAC Cottage on November 11, 2026, will explore how the First World War impacted the children of the time as they were “Growing Up With Gallipoli”. This theme will be explored through the children's letters, the games they played, and the work they did to comfort servicemen so far away. The Cottage will be open from 4 pm, with the Sunset Service beginning at 5 pm. All the commemoration’s features will be on show, including the Fields of Remembrance, the white crosses remembering our veterans, displays showing aspects of home life during the war, the unique ANZAC Cottage story and lots of poppies! The Friends of ANZAC Cottage thank The National Trust of Western Australia and the Community Bank North Perth for their generous support. ANZAC Cottage is located at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn and entry is free, with refreshments available for a gold coin donation.
