Introduction to Zentangle Drawing

Introduction to Zentangle at Byford Library Join Karen Wishart, a trained Zentangle® instructor, at Byford Library for a relaxing two-hour introduction to the Zentangle® method. While some mindful activities encourage you to clear your mind, Zentangle gently occupies your mind through simple, step-by-step instructions. With intent and focus, you will create beautiful, intricate patterns using simple lines and shapes. The Zentangle® method is not about drawing realistic pictures, so there is no pressure to be perfect or compare your work with others. There is no right or wrong way — just your own unique creation. Developed in 2003, Zentangle® combines creativity and mindfulness, providing a calming and enjoyable way to focus, relax and let go of everyday stresses. Join Karen at Byford Library and discover this simple and enjoyable drawing process. All materials supplied. No drawing experience required.
