Join Claudia for a 45min Yoga Nidra (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) practice to help you with recovery, focus, sleep and fatigue on and off the mat Yoga Nidra, often referred to as NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) a term popularized by neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, is a deeply restorative guided meditation practice that brings the body into a state of deep relaxation while the mind remains aware. Think of it as guided recovery where your body enters a deeply restorative state while your mind stays gently awake. While it's not a replacement for sleep, research suggests Yoga Nidra can significantly: • Reduce stress and cortisol levels • Improve sleep quality • Enhances focus, attention and emotional regulation • Reduces fatigue and promotes recovery ….making this a significantly beneficial practice to any athlete Location: @M1FC Date: Sunday 16th August Time: @4.30pm - 5.30pm Please bring a mat, pillow and a blanket to stay warm.
