Mexican Experience: Culture and connection for Seniors Community

Join us in person for Mexican traditions, lively conversation, and friendly connections with our senior community! Celebrate Seniors Week with a Mexican-inspired afternoon of culture, connection and wellbeing. Enjoy traditional bites and treats, play lotería (Mexican bingo) with the City of Canning’s Mexican Cultural Ambassador. Community partner LifeLinkConnect will support the event and share how it is helping seniors build meaningful social connections through community activities, volunteering and its digital platform, with an opportunity for attendees to learn more and get involved. We will conclude with an interactive music and wellbeing workshop led by Dr Manonita Ghosh, bringing participants together through music, creativity and shared experience. Open to seniors and carers from all cultural backgrounds, this event is an opportunity to meet new people, experience Mexican culture and enjoy an afternoon of connection, creativity and fun.
