NCCD Planning and Documentation in Independent Schools

Navigating disability funding and maintaining compliant NCCD records in Independent Schools in Western Australia can be complex and high-stakes. Now that you’ve made it through most of 2026, this one-day workshop will help you set up for a more efficient and less stressful approach next year. Participants will build a clear understanding of what disability funding is (and isn’t), what is available in the WA Independent sector, and the roles and responsibilities of school staff. The day is informed by key legal obligations, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005, and will focus on what schools need to demonstrate in a NCCD review or audit, with time for attendees to participate in moderation activities. With a strong practical focus, participants will explore how to prepare throughout the year, strengthen documentation, reduce workload for staff and pressure at submission time, and provide an opportunity to network with others in similar roles. NCCD Guidelines have been updated for 2026 and beyond, and schools need to be aware of the latest requirements. Tickets to this event are $185pp. Who should attend? School leaders and Learning Support/Inclusion staff in Independent Schools in Western Australia, particularly those responsible for coordinating, submitting or overseeing disability funding processes and/or NCCD data and evidence collection.
