PIAZZA Walls x NMBW | Plein Air Workshop with James Giddy

Take your creativity outdoors with festival artist James Giddy for a relaxed morning of plein air painting through PIAZZA and Fremantle. Led by festival artist James Giddy, the workshop invites you to slow down, observe your surroundings and capture the character of Fremantle through paint. Explore composition, perspective, light and colour through a series of creative observation and painting exercises, with guidance and tips from James throughout the morning. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or are an experienced maker looking for fresh inspiration, the workshop offers a relaxed, supportive setting to create outdoors. Only 25 painting kits are available on the day. Please register to secure yours, or you’re welcome to bring your own materials. Please bring a fold-out or camping chair and come prepared for the outdoors with a hat, sunscreen and water, as shade will be limited.
