Poetry Mosaic | Perth Poetry Festival 2026

Perth Poetry Festival 2026 Poetry Mosaic An Intercultural Poetry Gathering Date: Friday, 23 October 2026 Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Doors open 6:30pm) Venue: Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, 1–3 Hill View Place, Bentley WA 6102 Poetry carries more than words. It carries memory, ancestry, language, movement, belonging, and the places we continue to make home. Poetry Mosaic brings together poets and community voices whose writing moves across cultures, languages, histories and places. Through poetry and spoken word, the evening explores heritage and migration, family and identity, memory and belonging, and the many ways we understand home. Rather than asking voices to fit within a single cultural frame, Poetry Mosaic celebrates what happens when experiences meet, overlap and transform one another. Expect an evening of vivid poetry, intimate storytelling and voices shaped by different journeys through the world. Featuring: Featured poets coming soon. Hosted by TBC Poetry Mosaic moves through language, identity, heritage, memory, migration and belonging, creating a space for voices that cross borders, generations and lived experience. Accessibility: This event is wheelchair accessible. Hillview Intercultural Community Centre provides accessible facilities. Please contact us if you have specific access requirements and we will do our best to assist. Acknowledgement of Country: We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to their cultures and to Elders past and present. Supported by Lotterywest Poetry Mosaic is presented by WA Poets Inc as part of Perth Poetry Festival 2026, with support from Lotterywest. Come together for an evening of poetry that moves across cultures, languages, histories and lived experience. Visit perthpoetryfestival.com for more information. Book your place for Poetry Mosaic.
