Rewilding Suburbia with Mel Logozzo

Join us on Wednesday 16th of September for Rewilding Suburbia with author, educator and ecological storyteller Mel Logozzo. Discover how native plants, beneficial insects and wildlife-friendly gardening can transform even the smallest suburban spaces into thriving ecosystems. Mel shares her journey from protecting a vegetable patch from pests to creating a biodiversity-rich backyard. Along the way, attendees will explore practical, achievable ways to choose local plants, attract native wildlife, reduce reliance on chemicals and create habitat in their own gardens, balconies and neighbourhoods. Mel has recently published her book Rewilding Suburbia and will have copies for sale on the night. This event is organised by the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group as part of our Learning Landcare series of education events, thanks to funding from Lotterywest.
