Sashiko and Textiles

A Sashiko and Textile Group that meets monthly at the Kulungah Myah Community Centre. Join us on the last Friday of each month for a relaxing 3-hour craft session designed to foster a welcoming community of women who enjoy crafting. This group offers a space to connect with like-minded individuals while engaging in various creative projects. Participants will have the opportunity to gain experience in Sashiko – a simple, mindful and visible Japanese running stitch – or bring along your own craft projects such as cross-stitch, quilting, crocheting or embroidery. An afternoon tea roster will be provided to regular attendees.
