So this December, we’re handing him the keys and throwing a South American Sunday! Picture this: it’s the first Sunday of summer, the smell of the grill and picanha sizzling away. A glass of plush Argentinian Malbec in one hand and a golden coxinha in the other. Taste your way from the high-altitude vineyards of Argentina to the sun-soaked valleys of Chile, with a few Aussie takes on classic South American varietals like Malbec and Carménère along the way. Cooking up a storm on the day is Brazilian food truck Uai Mate, specialists in proper Brazilian BBQ and the much-loved street snack, coxinha: crispy, golden and stuffed with chicken.
