Tech Made Simple: Tracing your Ancestry

Tech Made Simple is a social group designed to help you feel more confident and in-control when using technology. Each session we cover a new topic delivered in an easy-to-follow format by a friendly guest presenter. We are then joined by volunteers from the National Institute of Technology for hands-on practice and to answer any questions you have in a safe and supportive environment. Tracing your family history is something that is on the ‘to do’ list for many people, but where do you start? In this session, learn how to trace your family tree using Ancestry.com, which you can access for free within the library. In this beginner's course participants will be guided in how to begin researching their family tree and discover useful family history resources with Vincent Library's Local History Librarian.
