An outdoor staged play reading fundraiser performance. A picnic. A play. A very Wilde night. Spend a summer evening outdoors at St Hilda’s with Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest. Directed by award-winning WA director Geoffrey Leeder, this staged play reading brings together theatre, laughter and community for a fundraiser supporting St Hilda’s Anglican Church - the parish church for everyone in North Perth. Bring a picnic, your favourite drinks and a low chair, and settle in for Wilde’s deliciously sharp take on love, manners and the complications of leading a double life. DATES AND TIME Friday 11 & Saturday 12 December 2026 Doors open at 6pm. Show starts at 6.30 pm. Please select your preferred performance date when booking. VENUE The Lawn, St Hilda’s Anglican Church, 15 View Street, North Perth An outdoor event - come prepared for anything!
