Write Horror. Get Published. Part of The Spark by Centre for Stories, this two-day creative writing workshop is for young writers aged 13-18 who want to explore gothic horror and create their own dark story. Bring a character, a nightmare, a strange idea - or start from scratch. Over two days, you’ll explore horror storytelling, develop your ideas and work towards a finished piece of writing. And then? Get published. Completed stories will be published in The Spark’s Gothic Horror Anthology, alongside work by other young writers. You’ll explore: • Gothic and horror storytelling • Characters, atmosphere and suspense • Psychological horror and unexpected twists • Developing an idea into a finished story No previous writing experience required.
