Venue & ticket info

Fresh off a 68-concert tour of the United States where he performed to more than 18,000 people, “Classical guitar star” Andrew Blanch returns home to launch Tierra, his new album with ABC Classic. Blanch has been described as "the rockstar of nylon-acoustic music" (On Sounds), "the real deal" (Classics Today), "dazzling" (ArtsHub), and "especially brilliant" (The Age). He has won prizes in more than ten international competitions, released numerous critically acclaimed albums with over 2 million streams worldwide and a nomination for Best Classical Album (AIR Awards), and performed at major festivals and concert halls across Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific. Featuring repertoire from Blanch’s new Tierra release alongside his USA Spanish Romance programs, the concert features some of the most enduring and popular pieces for the Spanish guitar including Francisco Tarrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra, and Isaac Albeniz’ Asturias.
