Suzy Evans - Of country Common Ground Suzy Evans is of the Gomeroi people of Moree in north-west of New South Wales, living and creating on Gadigal Country (Redfern). “Of Country” - draws inspiration from her traditional roots and her definitive interpretation of country. This body of work also features a series of Mehe Mimi’s, Mimi had human form and made the first rock paintings. Suzy is an award winning artist and her work is found in the permanent collection of the University of Technology @modernmurri Pleasance Ingle - Flinders “To walk along the tracks, among the ghosts and in the dust of the Flinders Ranges is a truly compelling experience. The silence rumbles through you. The time and weight in these hills sits heavy with this phantom presence, the history perhaps.
