As We See It - Storytelling Community

People all around us have something to share. Come and join the community. Optional theme: "Bad Neighbours" Feel free to use this as a prompt, or feel free to ignore it if there's a perspective you'd like to share. As We See It is a Storytelling and Spoken Word evening in the Hills — warm, funny, moving and occasionally surprising. Original works from the local community. Poetry, storytelling, stand-up — any form goes, as long as it's honest and it's yours. This isn't a competition. No judges, no scores, no right answers. Just people with a fascinating aspect of their life, and the nerve to share it with a supportive and curious audience. Share your perspective. Don't seek to persuade. Every perspective is welcome, but opinions should stay online. Held at the Pickled Bear, a hidden gem nestled in Bella Vista near the station. Impromptu and open mic opportunities for brave audience members on the night. *Note we do allow additional speakers if we have time.
