Bound to Roam Bookcrawl: Walky Talky Edition

A Paddington bookstore crawl inspired by the Walky Talky walks in Karina May’s Just a Girl, Actually - with books, chats, food, and drinks! To celebrate the release of Karina May’s new novel, Just a Girl, Actually, Bound to Roam is bringing the book’s Walky Talky walks to life with a special Paddington bookstore crawl — a day of walking, talking, eating and, naturally, buying books. And we’ll be walking for something bigger, too. $5 from every ticket will be donated to The RED HEART Campaign, supporting its work advocating for women and children impacted by violence and keeping conversations around gender-based violence and femicide visible. We’ll start at Ampersand Café with an included coffee and sweet treat, your Walky Talky tote and goodie bag, and an intimate in-conversation with Karina May and fellow romance author Amy Hutton. From here, we roam! Coming solo is very much encouraged. We’ll make the introductions, help everyone settle in and give you a whole group of people to walk and talk with throughout the day. Your ticket includes • Coffee + sweet treat at Ampersand Café • Bound & Co tote + curated Walky Talky goodie bag • In-conversation with Karina May + Amy Hutton • Guided Paddington bookstore crawl • Stops at Berkelouw Books, Ariel Booksellers + Romancing the Novel • Pub lunch at The Imperial Hotel • Wine, beer or non-alcoholic drink with lunch • $5 donation to The RED HEART Campaign Wander far. Wander safely. And stop for books along the way. Books purchased during the crawl and optional drinks at The Royal Paddington are not included in your ticket.
