How do we build authentic connections at work across culture, background and lived experience? Join African Professionals of Australia (APA) NSW for an evening dedicated to exactly that question. Bring Your Whole Self To Work brings together African professionals, CALD community members and workplace allies from across Sydney for a night of storytelling, cultural celebration and honest conversation about what genuine inclusion looks like beyond the policy documents and the panel talking points. For many of us, showing up fully at work isn't always easy. This event is APA's response: a space to celebrate identity, share lived experience, and spark real conversation between employees, leaders and community about what it takes to build workplaces where everyone belongs. On the night, you can expect: • An international keynote speaker on multicultural storytelling and workplace visibility • Panel discussions exploring intercultural connection and inclusion at work • Cultural performances celebrating African heritage • African food, art and culture throughout the evening • Plenty of time to connect over drinks and finger food Who should come This event is for African professionals, CALD community members, corporate colleagues, HR and DEI leaders, and anyone who wants to better understand what authentic inclusion means in practice.
