Capturing Content for your Business with Chris Grundy

As part of NSW Small Business Month, Nikon are hosting a class to teach the basics of product photography to help you upskill. Social media demands a constant stream of content, and professional imagery for your brand is an ever-increasing cost. For Small Business Month, Nikon Australia has partnered with professional fashion and commercial photographer Chris Grundy to help. Join Chris for a hands-on photography session to learn how to get the most out of a professional camera and level up your brand content. Drawing on his professional expertise, Chris will take you through: • Setting up a mirrorless camera • Photography basics • Finding a direction for your imagery • Getting the best out of natural light • Answering any questions you have Nikon will provide a range of cameras and lenses for you to use, including the new Z5IIC, so you can step up from smartphone photography and create stronger content for your brand. Please Note: As this class is part of NSW Small Business Month, we ask that you enrol only if you own a business. Tickets are limited, and the content is aimed at business owners rather than professional photographers, so we want to make sure everyone attending gets the most out of the session. About Chris: Chris Grundy is an Australian Photographer based in Sydney, with wide commercial and fine art experience. Chris' fine art documents ocean landscapes, human form and expression. Producing long-form case studies, whether that’s shooting a storm making its way up the coast or documenting a subject plying their craft in their everyday environment. ‘The process of creating a series of images that tells a story by encapsulating a certain mood or mystic is what I am seeking to achieve’. Over the past decade, Chris’s unique and distinct approach has led him to be sought-after by global brands both internationally and on home soil. Chris has worked on a vast range of abstract ocean series, combining both long exposures, and natural forms to create striking shots that stay with viewers. Images by Chris Grundy Recommended Skill Level: Begginner to Intermediate What to bring: • Mirrorless or DSLR camera (Optional) • Memory cards • Studio appropriate clothing – Please avoid loose clothing, tie up or tuck in long hair, and wear enclosed footwear Gear Provided: A variety of Nikon cameras and NIKKOR Z lenses will be available for use during the class.
