Celebrate Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with Lantern Painting Workshop

Join us to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival! The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival in China and it is widely celebrated across many Asian countries with each country having their own unique traditions and local customs to honour the brightest full moon of the year. It is a celebration that brings families and communities together that dates back over 3000 years. This 1.5-hour workshop lets you get creative by painting your own paper lantern to take home while learning the rich history and traditions behind the holiday. Everyone are welcome to join in and celebrate with us! For kids, we’ll provide fun activity worksheets for them to learn about the traditions and legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Event Details: • Fee: For up to 16 years old: $25 For adult: $35 (one lantern per person) • Extra Lanterns: Want to paint more than one lantern? Additional lanterns are available for $10 each.
