Combining live electronics, experimental compositional techniques and a work built around a visual score, the ensemble explores new approaches to musical interaction, form and texture. The performance will feature two compositions by Ben Lopes, Seeing Red and Microscapes, alongside Maddy Briggs’ electric toothbrush guitar. Expect a charged and unpredictable performance, where sounds are stretched, fractured and transformed in real time. Chaos Collective: Chaos Collective is a Sydney-based experimental music ensemble exploring collective improvisation, spontaneous composition and sonic experimentation.
