Co-Working & Networking Outdoors Sydney - Citizen COP 2026

Spend a working day a little differently — outdoors in a greener and fresher environment, alongside others 👩‍💻👨‍💻🌿 This relaxed co-working & networking day is an invitation to bring your laptop, work, ideas and curiosity into a greener shared space. Join us from start to finish, or simply drop in for a few hours, lunch or a change of scenery — all participation is welcome! We’ll begin with a short welcome, introduction to Outdoor Office Day(s) Australia and Citizen COP, gentle grounding, and a chance to meet the people around you. Most of the day is yours to work, with optional conversation prompts, mindful-break cards and small moments to connect, move or reset. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from nearby café(s). 📍 Location: Flour Drum cafe garden in Sydney (Newtown) 📅 Thursday, 22 October 2026 ⏰ 9:00 AM–4:00 PM Come for focused work, fresh air, new connections — or all three. Hosted as part of Outdoor Office Day(s) Australia week happening during 19-23 October: https://linktr.ee/OutdoorOfficeDayAustralia For any questions or support, please contact: Evelina Lekešiūtė | [email protected] About Citizen COP Australia Citizen COP Australia is a decentralised, people-powered movement running alongside the global COPs in 2026. Enabled by People For Nature, but intentionally independent and distributed, Citizen COP invites communities, organisations, schools, businesses, artists, and local groups across Australia to host their own events during the COP period. Rather than a single central event, Citizen COP is a nationwide network of conversations, workshops, and actions that bring global climate and nature discussions into local communities. It connects people to science, solutions, and each other, strengthening civic engagement and ensuring citizen voices contribute to Australia’s climate and nature conversations. https://www.peoplefornature.org.au/citizen-cop About People For Nature People For Nature is a volunteer-powered environmental charity empowering communities through climate and biodiversity education, citizen conservation, and science. We believe that when Australians understand and connect with nature, they’re more likely to protect it — safeguarding our climate, ecosystems, and well-being. Your tax-deductible donation helps us bring initiatives like Citizen COP Australia to life and inspire real change for the planet. https://www.peoplefornature.org.au/donate
