COOLAMON Arts Hub Exhibition Launch Event - Truth-Telling: Our Past, Present and Future

Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) warmly invites you to a special launch event for The Coolamon Arts Hub travelling exhibition: Truth-Telling: Our Past, Present and Future. Following the successful opening of the Coolamon Arts Hub in Waterloo in May, we are excited to bring the second showing of this powerful exhibition to the Uniting Church in Paddington. Truth-Telling: Our Past, Present and Future features artworks created by KBH Survivors, sharing their lived experiences of Kinchela Boys Home, the ongoing impacts on their lives, and their journeys of reconnecting with family, culture, and identity. The exhibition also includes ‘We Were Just Little Boys,’ a moving photographic collaboration between Noongar and Spinifex visual storyteller Tace Stevens and the KBH Survivors. Our exhibition will be curated by Dr Virginia Keft who is a Muruwari artist, curator and creative producer whose interdisciplinary practice spans sculpture, textiles, painting and installation to take on the Curator role for this Exhibition.
