Find Your Professional Voice

Find Your Voice: A Vocal Playground Workshop for Working Professionals When's the last time anyone actually taught you how to use your voice at work? Not what to say but to say it: your tone, your presence, your pacing, the pause before the point that actually lands. For most of us, formal voice training stopped around age 15. Since then, we've been improvising our way through client pitches, leadership meetings, and every "can you just jump on a quick call" moment ever since. Vocal Playground is a 2-hour, hands-on workshop built for professionals who want to communicate with more clarity, confidence, and command, without sounding like they're performing. You'll walk away with: - A stronger, more deliberate speaking presence in meetings and presentations - Your natural communication style identified, and how to use it strategically - Practical vocal and structural tools for pitching, presenting, and holding a room - Techniques you can apply in your very next meeting, not just theory you'll forget by Monday This is an interactive session grounded in real vocal science and real business application, led by: Sarah Qian — 7x pitch winner, science communicator, founder, and teacher at UNSW and Sydney University Helen — AFTRS-trained vocal coach specialising in vocal technique and presence across hundreds of students over 15 years Ideal for teams, leadership groups, and anyone whose job depends on being heard clearly the first time.
