FORMA pres. Don West & Jordan Rakei - Darling Harbour, Tumbalong Park

Don West and Jordan Rakei: two voices at the heart of contemporary soul will form a special one-night-only lineup in the heart of Sydney's CBD; Darling Harbour's Tumbalong Park. Sydney's Don West brings his smooth sound to the FORMA stage - sailing straight out of the '60s in a top-down Cadillac. His honey-dipped vocals belong to a different era, but this is definitely his time. Joining Don is New Zealand-born, London-based Jordan Rakei. Debuting new music from his forthcoming new album, 'A Safe Place To Be Wild', alongside favourites from his growing catalogue, Jordan's remarkable voice and musicianship will fill the park with a lush, immersive live set shaped by soul, jazz and electronica. Drifting Clouds and Father's Favourite round out the bill for a remarkable evening under the stars. Genre-blurring and deeply musical, this is an open-air series finalse full of warmth, precision and a whole lot of feeling. This event is all-ages. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Babes in arms (aged 2 and under) are free and do not require a ticket. BYO picnic chairs and seating is allowed for this event - please see our website for more information: https://formapresents.com.au/ FORMA [Open Air] is set to transform Darling Harbour's Tumbalong Park into Sydney's newest pop-up cultural hub. From November 26 - December 6, FORMA will transform the Sound Shell stage at Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park into a new outdoor performance space, complete with leading-edge sound, production, pop-up dining and dedicated family-oriented events unfolding with the Sydney skyline as its iconic backdrop.
