Embrace the new season. Let’s give space to a new creation. Spend the afternoon with Rochelle from The Shah Closet exploring the gouache medium, reflecting on what spring means to us and capturing the transient beauty of spring flowers. You will leave this workshop learning how to sketch your subject, basic colour theory, and a simple floral artwork that is a gentle reminder of staying present and going along with new seasons. Why you should learn gouache painting Gouache is all about intentionality. This painting medium asks us to be considerate of each stroke and colour. Once we commit to a change, we are asked to accept and embrace it’s outcomes. What's included: • Learn how to draw your subject • Learn basic colour theory • Learn how to paint with gouache on A5 waterolour paper • An artwork guided by The Shah Closet and made by you • Complimentary tea provided by Zen Concept • All artworks are protected with cellophane • All art supplies are provided
