IAB Australia Discovery: AI & Search Summit Sydney 2027

The way people discover brands, information and media is still changing fast, reshaping the advertising and media ecosystem. Brands, agencies and publishers need to keep pace with these shifts and evolve their practices accordingly. In 2027, IAB Australia will once again bring the industry together for the Discovery: AI & Search Summit, a future-focused forum unpacking the changes transforming consumer behaviour, brand visibility and measurement. From social and commerce-led discovery to the rapid acceleration of AI-generated and instant answers, the search landscape continues to evolve faster than ever. Curated by IAB's Future of Search and AI Working Groups, the conference will explore what this means for marketers, publishers, agencies and platforms, and how to build strategies that thrive in an AI-powered discovery ecosystem. This includes practical frameworks for optimising content and performance in an instant answer world, alongside insight into the emerging skills, tools and best practices shaping the next era of search. If you are navigating AI-driven automation, rethinking measurement, or preparing your organisation for the future of discovery, this is the room to be in.
