Learn to Swim with ISOC UNSW, Term 3 2026 Learn to swim with people who can't swim either. That's what Foundation is. Eight Friday nights at the UNSW pool, the lanes split for brothers and sisters, and an instructor who starts where you are. Everyone in your lane is a beginner too. Foundation, $99 for 8 sessions. You have completed the beginner program with us? 6 x Advanced sessions runs the same Friday night. We've run this for six terms. The society pays part of the cost, so $99 covers the whole program. 🗓️ The details • When: every Friday, 7-8 PM, starting Friday, 25th September 2026 • Last lesson: Friday, 13th November 2026 • Where: UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre (B5), Gate 2, High St, UNSW Sydney, Kensington • Registration closes: 3:00 PM on Thursday, 24th September 2026 🏊 Which class is yours Foundation, $99. You can't swim a lap on your own yet. Maybe you've never tried. Maybe you get halfway and run out of breath. Either way, this is your class. Advanced, $99 for 6 sessions. You can swim a lap unassisted and you want to get better at it. Both run every Friday, 7-8 PM. Not sure which one you are? Pick Foundation. The instructor will move you up if you're ahead of it. 📋 What makes it comfortable • The lanes are split for brothers and sisters, and there's a separate changing room. • The centre doesn't have a separate pool. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out on the night. • Everyone's 18 or older. • Open to everyone, not just UNSW students and staff. The rules, so nothing surprises you • The fee covers the whole term, not a lesson at a time, and it's non-refundable. • You're expected at every lesson. Miss two in a row without telling us and it may affect your place next term. • If we have to cancel the program, you get a full refund.
