Jane Dire "Loser Rock" Record Launch w/ Grumpy @ The Eveleigh Hotel (Upstairs)

Jane is bringing his new record out alongside his band plus friends in Grumpy at the Ev. The only reason you’re hearing the music of Jane Dire is that he learnt to give up. Presenting Loser Rock, the third record from Sydney’s sonic raconteur Jane Dire. When life decides your path, there’s no point fighting, but you can celebrate it. Each song on Loser Rock is an embrace of rough-and-ready stories, from doomed relationships in “Sinking Statues” to thinking life as you know it is over in “DOA”. Produced by Nicholas Hatzakos (Mac the Knife, The Slims), the record sees Jane at his most polished and yet most ferocious, with an absolute commitment to a bare, gnarled and upfront sound. Loser Rock leans into ugliness, and there’s no mistaking whose voice is at its heart.
