Full description from organizerShow less
This retreat centres on meditations from the Lam Rim, the graduated path to enlightenment. We begin with different stabilising meditations to settle body and mind, then move into a series of foundational contemplations: appreciating the preciousness of our human life, bringing awareness to death and impermanence, recognising genuine happiness, finding refuge, and working skilfully with karma. These contemplations are designed to free our mind from the grip on worldly distraction and help us discover joy and contentment through meaningful living. Each day includes guided meditations to help you engage these topics personally, along with brief explanations and time for discussion and Q&A. All are welcome.
