Full description from organizer

Lead change without causing harm. Poorly managed organisational change is explicitly named as a psychosocial hazard in Australian WHS regulation, in SafeWork NSW's code of practice on managing psychosocial hazards at work and its counterparts in most other jurisdictions. Managing the harm change creates is now a compliance expectation, not a nice-to-have. Yet the people who lead and advise on change are rarely trained for it. This one-day workshop closes that gap. Who it is for Change managers and transformation and project leads, HR and OD practitioners, WHS and safety professionals, and leaders running restructures or major change. What you will walk away able to do • Recognise where change creates psychosocial risk, using the Trident Psychosocial Change Model. • Assess any change and design controls that stand up to scrutiny. • Quote for, win and deliver change work with the confidence that it meets WHS obligations. How the day works You will work through two realistic case studies. The first we walk through together, where you will practise assessing and controlling psychosocial risk on a change initiative step by step. The second your table works as a team, applying the model end to end and defending your controls. Why it pays off PwC's analysis for Beyond Blue found $2.30 returned for every $1 invested in a mentally healthy workplace, with other analyses ranging up to $4, while Safe Work Australia data shows psychological claims cost around four times more than other claims and run far longer. To our knowledge this is the only one-day program in Australia at the intersection of change delivery and psychosocial harm prevention; comparable specialist days run $880 to $1,100 and up. What is included • A full day of facilitated, scenario-based learning led by an endorsed organisational psychologist. • The Trident Psychosocial Change Model and the complete take-home practitioner toolkit. • A pathway to become a Trident Accredited Psychosocial Change Practitioner, with a recognised credential and verifiable digital badge. • Full-day catering: arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, plus self-serve Nespresso all day. Notepads, materials and Wi-Fi provided. • CPD: approximately 6.5 hours of structured learning, claimable under most HR, WHS and psychology CPD schemes (check your scheme's rules). Your facilitator Alexander Drane, Organisational Psychologist, MAppPsych (Organisational), BPsych, MSIOPA. Director of Trident Psychology, with global experience leading psychosocial risk work.
