Learn to Swim Program for Women and Girls - Guildford

Sisters in Sync is a 12-week learn-to-swim program empowering women and girls from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) to build water safety, confidence & community. Who: Women and girls (ages 10 and up) from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD). When: Every Saturday for 12 weeks - starting Saturday 19th September 2026. Class times: Classes will run for 45 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. You can choose to join only one of the available classes: • SATURDAYS • Class 1: 4:00pm - 4:45pm • Class 2: 4:45pm - 5:30pm • Class 3: 5:30pm - 6:15pm • Class 4: 6:15pm - 7:00pm • Class 5: 7:00pm - 7:45pm (for girls 10-14 years old only) • SUNDAYS • Class 1: 11:45am - 12:30pm • Class 2: 12:30pm - 1:15pm Where: Swimz Guildford - 12 Carrington Road, Guildford NSW, Australia This is a women's and girls-only program. Lessons will be delivered by a female swim instructor in a safe and private indoor swimming pool. Who is the program for? • This program is designed to teach women and girls with little or no swim experience. You do not need any prior experience with swimming to join the program. • Students who can confidently swim are NOT able to join the program. • We expect students to attend at least 9 out of 12 sessions as this is a highly sought-after program and is heavily subsidised. Please be sure that you are able to commit to these sessions, as there are no make-up sessions available. How to complete the program? To complete the program, you must attend at least 75% of the sessions (at least 9 out of 12 classes). Those who complete the program will receive a $25 gift card and a certificate of completion. How much does the program cost? The program costs $50 per person. Students who attend at least 75% of swimming lessons (9 out of the 12 classes or more) will be eligible for a gift card worth $25 AUD.
