Lesbian Film Club Sydney presents: Wicker

Join us on Friday October 6 for a private screening of Wicker (2026). On the outskirts of a village by the sea, lives a Fisherwoman; smelly, single and perpetually ridiculed. One day, fed up with her stuffy, small-minded neighbours, she commissions herself a husband to be made from wicker. In an otherwise conservative town, this unconventional romance sparks outrage, jealousy and chaos. Agenda: 5:30pm - Meet at The Bank in Newtown for mingling and refreshments 6:10pm - Move across to Dendy Newtown 6:30pm - Film begins 10:00pm - Film concludes Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for any tickets or additional purchases made.
