Let's Make It Personal - Your Grant Application Workshop

Join us for a hands-on, deep-dive workshop designed to take your next grant application from wishful thinking to highly competitive. By popular demand, Inner West Creative Network is bringing writer and successful grant applicant Gary Paramanathan back! He brings a storyteller’s perspective to how artists communicate their ideas, along with valuable insights gained from writing and reviewing many grant applications … the good, the bad and the ugly. In this interactive session—presented in partnership with Inner West Council as part of the Creative Toolbox series—you’ll learn how to present your creative ideas in the language of grant funding and actually start drafting your next grant application on the spot. What you’ll get out of it: • Progress: Walk away with a solid draft of your next grant application already written. • Peer collaboration: Share ideas and gather fresh perspectives from fellow creatives. • Expert feedback: Get direct guidance and advice on your draft from Gary. Whether you attended Gary's previous sessions at Creative Learning Labs: Money Money Money!, or you are an artist or creative struggling with writing or winning grants, don’t miss the chance to understand what funders really want, practice how to reframe your ideas, learn how to navigate the common stumbling blocks and build a clear, concise and compelling case.
