Waverley Council invites you to celebrate the New Year at Dudley Page Reserve, Dover Heights. We offer a fun, relaxed atmosphere with panoramic views of the harbour fireworks. This event is perfect for families and people of all ages to relax and have an unforgettable New Year's Eve experience. Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy the live DJ, face painting and roving entertainment for the kids, giant lawn games, and silent disco. There will also be a licensed bar and food stalls on site. Bring a rug and relax with friends and family, taking in the breathtaking scenery and best vantage point in Sydney. Can't wait to see you there! Ticket Prices: $30 Youth and $70 Adults | Family Ticket $180 (2 Adults + 2 Youths) Features: DJ, Roving Entertainment, Kids Zone, Silent Disco Food and Beverages (food for sale. BYO food is ok), Licensed bar all evening Toilets (inc Accessible) and Water Drinking Station. Glass No glass can be brought into the event, including glass bottles and glassware. Drones No drones are to be used on site. Seating You will need to bring your own picnic rug. Low chairs without legs are permitted. If you require a standard sized chair for mobility issues you will be asked to position yourself at the back of the crowd closest to the bar and food service area. Food & Beverages Food can be purchased from the food stalls and drinks from the bars set up on site. Bars and food stalls will be open from gate opening times. Strictly no BYO alcohol or unsealed beverage containers. You may bring your own food into the venue. Cutlery Please do not bring knives. Plastic cutlery only for you own food/picnics. Metal knives will be taken from bag search on entry. Gates Open The venue gates open at 5:30pm, you may queue before this time. Generally the crowd starts to line up from 4.30pm to access the best vantage point at the front. However, you may enter at any time after 5:30pm as there is loads of room for everyone! Gates Close The event concludes at 12:30am. The venue will be cleared of patrons by 1am. Please respect the neighbours as you leave. Please note the neighbouring streets and parks are alcohol-free zones. Transport Very limited parking is available in the nearby area. Walk or catch Public Transport. Call 131 500 for more info. Taxis and buses are available to the event and after the event. It is best to take a bus (that will pick you up from the venue) to Bondi Junction or Edgecliff station. Note, additional services will run on the evening. NYE Road Closures Many of the roads around Dudley Page Reserve will be closed on New Year's Eve. Check live traffic website. Money There is eftpos available at the bar, but not at the entrance. Some food stalls may have eftpos, so we recommend bringing some extra cash just in case. Parking We strongly recommend that everyone catches buses which generally exit the venue in approx 30 to 60 mins. The neighbouring roads are closed from 3pm to 2am so even if you were able to find a car space it would be a long way from the event. Dress The venue is grass underfoot so it is advisable to wear comfortable flat shoes. Companion Card Waverley Council acknowledges the Companion Card programme. Please contact [email protected] once you purchase your ticket so that they may issue a Complimentary ticket for your Carer. You will be required to email a copy of your Companion Card at the time of request. Conditions of Entry All patrons entering will be subject to bag searches. Children under 18 must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by a ticket holding parent, legal guardian or adult eligible carer at all times. No pass outs or re-entry to site. Refunds Tickets to this event are non-refundable. Pets No pets are allowed on site. Photography Please be advised that photos and videos will be recorded at this event for the use on Waverly Council's website and social media, and for future marketing and promotional materials. By attending this event, you consent to being photographed and filmed and for Waverly Council to use your image and likeness.
