POUR DECISIONS: I'll fly away...

Pour Decisions is back for round two, and this time the wines are fizzier. Pour Decisions is our gelato & wine pairing series at Erin, done in collaboration with DRNKS. Each round, a different independent winemaker joins us at the restaurant and we match five of their wines with five Messina gelatos, scoop for sip. Up next is Tim Ward of I'll fly away... Tim makes small-batch, artisan wines, specialising in Pétillant Naturel, Ancestral Method and Lambrusco. The fruit is site-selected and hand-harvested for ripeness and acidity, then treated gently and minimally in the cellar for an honest, delicious taste. Expect lightness, refreshment and energy in the glass, matched by our gelato chefs to five mini sundaes made just for the night. The pairings: 2025 Bianco (Vermentino) with yogurt and coconut gelato, candied lemon stars and lime zest NV Fiano, Cuvée MJ with hazelnut gelato, hazelnut praline, pretzel fudge and flaky salt 2024 Lambrusco Rosé with pistachio gelato, strawberry coulis and pistachio praline NV Lambrusco Maestri Rifermentato with vanilla gelato, vincotto and candied black olives 2023 Anganico with boysenberry and yogurt gelato, Tasmanian mountain pepper berry and a savoury oat cracker Two nights only: Thursday 19 and Thursday 26 November, 6:30pm. $65 for 5 wines + 5 gelato pairings.
