Pour it Forward: Candle Making with CandleXchange

Workshop Overview Join CandleXchange for a hands-on, purpose-led candle-making experience that combines creativity, sustainability, and social impact. In this 45-minute workshop, participants will: • Learn how to create and pour your own 300g soy wax candle in a scent of your choice, in a beautiful glass container to take home • Plus, create a second upcycled candle for which will be gifted to someone in need. • Discover why most candle containers aren't recyclable and the environmental cost of candle waste. • Learn about CandleXchange’s circular model, including our Return & Swap service and the UpCandle program, which transforms donated containers (from any brand) into new candles for local charities such as Relove. • Understand how conscious material choices and circular thinking can reduce waste and create social value. • This workshop is a meaningful way to connect, create, and contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate community. Suitable for ages 16+. NOTE: The poured candles will need time to cool and set. Collect your take home candle at CandleXchange stall between 230-3pm or can be delivered via courier for $10.
