SCAMP Comics Festival 2026: Printing and Small Press Panel

Getting your comic into print for the first time can feel intimidating…but it doesn’t have to be! Join a team of Sydney’s self-published veterans as they talk you through what it takes to get your comics off the screen and onto the page. Discover the basics of comics printing, common pitfalls to avoid, and the insider secrets that will make a story pop in print. With decades of experience in small press and indie publishing between them, this absolutely stacked panel consists of Chris Neill (Publisher at Blueprint Comics), Sam Cheng (Publisher at Kindling Press), Safdar Ahmed (‘Still Alive’, ‘Space Jihad’) and Fionn Mcabe (Read to Me, Folio). This panel is recommended for ages 16 and over. This panel is part of the program for SCAMP Comics Festival 2026.
