SCAMP Comics Festival 2026 Workshop: Creating Captivating Comic Characters with Georgina Chadderton

Meet the next hit comic book character… you! Join South Australian graphic novelist and author Georgina Chadderton for a hands-on character drawing workshop. Learn how to design a cartoon version of yourself using shape language and illustrate your feelings through the magic of comics! Georgina will also share behind-the-scenes stories about creating their graphic novel memoir, Oh Brother, which is all about growing up with their autistic brother, starting high school, and navigating new friendships. This workshop is recommended for kids aged 7-12. This panel is part of the program for SCAMP Comics Festival 2026.
