SIGNÉ STITCH CLUB is an intimate, hands-on embroidery workshop led by Margot Warre, founder of Margot Design, exploring the art of personalising clothing through hand stitch. Over two hours, Margot will introduce you to essential embroidery techniques including running stitch, backstitch and satin stitch, before helping you develop and embroider your own words, initials or motif onto a personal piece. Embroidery has always carried more than decoration. Across generations, stitches have held stories, symbols, affection, humour and secret messages. Now it’s your turn to leave your mark. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN Learn foundational hand embroidery stitches and experiment with lettering, mark-making and personal motifs before creating your own embroidered piece with individual guidance from Margot. No previous embroidery experience is necessary. The workshop is designed for complete beginners as well as those wanting to rediscover the pleasure of stitching by hand. WHAT’S INCLUDED Each guest will receive an embroidery kit to use during the workshop and continue stitching at home, including: • 100% linen serviette • Embroidery threads • Needle • Embroidery stitch chart • Light refreshments All additional workshop tools and materials will be provided. WHAT TO BRING Bring one favourite item from your wardrobe that you’d like to personalise. Think a shirt, pair of jeans, cap, jacket, handkerchief or another piece you’d love to make your own.
