Join writer and home cook Charlotte Ree at Gertrude & Alice for one of her beloved supper clubs - an intimate evening of seasonal food, thoughtful conversation, and the quiet magic that unfolds when strangers gather around the same table. In Supper Stories, we invite you to bring something of your own: a story. Our second theme is Love - be it platonic, romantic, familial, furry; the heartache and heartbreak, the unconditional and unexplored, and all the ways we give ourselves away. Over a shared meal, we'll pass more than plates. We'll share stories: the funny ones, the difficult ones, the surprising ones, and the ones that stay with us long after the table has been cleared. Enjoy a three-course dinner thoughtfully crafted by Charlotte to reflect the season and wine on arrival. Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking, and we will do our best to accommodate them. There's no expectation to have the perfect words. Simply come with an open heart and, if you feel comfortable, a story that has shaped you. We encourage guests to come alone, to be fully present, and to embrace the rare opportunity to connect with people they may never have met otherwise. By the end of the evening, strangers often leave as friends, united by the simple act of sharing a meal.
