Join us on our weekend away at Seven Mile Beach - learn to surf & make new friends 🏄‍♀️ Surf Camp Weekend Away with Sydney Working Holiday Girls 🌊 Join us from 13th–15th November for an all-inclusive weekend of surfing, beach vibes and making new friends! 🏄‍♀️ Based in Gerroa, just two hours south of Sydney, we'll be learning to surf on Seven Mile Beach and staying at their beachside Surf Camp. There will be other travellers and groups staying at the camp over the weekend too. 📅 ITINERARY Friday • Meet at Wake Up! Sydney between 5:30–6:00pm • Travel to Surf Camp by bus or train (train option is subject to availability) • Arrive at Surf Camp around 8:45pm • Meet & greet • Overnight stay Saturday Breakfast • Surf • Lunch • Surf • Dinner • Relax Sunday Breakfast • Surf • Lunch • Depart 2:00pm • Return to Sydney around 6:00pm 🏄‍♀️ SURF LESSONS Over the weekend, we'll take part in a progressive 3-lesson surf course designed for absolute beginners through to intermediate surfers. You'll learn everything from paddling and popping up to catching green waves, reading the ocean and understanding surf etiquette so you feel confident in the water. No previous surfing experience is needed! 🌊 🏡 ACCOMMODATION Two nights in shared beachside dorm accommodation, with up to 7 girls per room. We'll do our best to keep the Working Holiday Girls together, but as Surf Camp is shared, there may be other girls not from WHG staying in the rooms too. Facilities include hot showers, a swimming pool, hammocks, Wi-Fi, all just a short walk from the beach and local pub. 🍝 MEALS & GEAR All meals are provided by Surf Camp, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Use of beginner softboards, Rip Curl wetsuits and SPF 30+ sunscreen is included. Please note: Dinner on Friday evening is not included, so we recommend grabbing something before meeting at Wake Up! Sydney. 🚌 TRANSPORT Meet at Wake Up! Sydney between 5:30–6:00pm on Friday evening. You'll travel to Surf Camp by bus or train. The train option is subject to availability,. Return transport to Sydney is included. 🌅 EVENING VIBES After a day of surfing, relax by the pool, unwind in the hammocks, or head to the local ocean-view pub for sunset drinks on Saturday evening. Drinks at the pub are optional and at your own expense. 💸 BOOK YOUR SPOT $445 per person Payment is via direct bank transfer (to avoid booking fees). Full details about surf camp HERE ⚠️ GOOD TO KNOW • Spaces are non-refundable but can be transferred to another girl if you can no longer attend. • Surf Camp Terms & Conditions can be found HERE • This is a shared Surf Camp, so there will be other travellers and groups staying at the camp throughout the weekend. • This trip is open to girls ages 18-35 and apart of our community. • Bring: Swimsuit, towel, toiletries, comfy clothes, warm layers for the evening, sunhat, sunscreen, water bottle, overnight bag and ID.
