Sydney Art Crawl (Ages 21 to 39) - 18 Sept

Every week, boutique art galleries across Sydney host 'Opening Night' events. These are open to the public and typically feature complimentary wine and a lively atmosphere - together with great art by local and emerging artists! The concept of the 'Art Crawls' is simple. Your humble host plans out an Art Crawl when the stars align and these opening nights fall on the same night. This typically means 'crawling' between several galleries in a night, normally in the vicinity of the inner city (Surry Hills / Darlinghurst / etc). Come along, drink some wine, enjoy the art, and make some new friends! We'll be visiting three fantastic galleries this time - 📍6pm – 6.25pm - China Heights (28 Foster St, Surry Hills) - 'Tactile Illusions' Group Exhibition 📍6.35pm – 6.45pm - Schmick Contemporary (706 George St, Haymarket) - 'Peace of a Park' by Grace Harré, Luca Blasonato and Paige Labuda 📍6.50pm – 7.10pm - 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art (181-187 Hay Street, Haymarket) - 'Archetypes: 30 Years of 4A' Group Exhibition 📍7.15pm – 7.35pm - Nasha Gallery (102-104 George St, The Rocks) - 'Volcano' by Amber Wallis and 'Waterhen' by Kathryn Dolby 📍7.40pm – 8pm - Passage Gallery (8 Quay St, Haymarket) - 'Tearing Field' by Betty Russ If there's interest, we'll head to either Chinese Noodle Restaurant of the Chinatown Night Markets for dinner afterwards!
