UTS Writers' Anthology Launch 2026

Join us at the launch of the 2026 UTS Writers’ Anthology: Savour the Dust. Celebrating the best new voices in prose, poetry and nonfiction out of University of Technology Sydney's Creative Writing program. So much of what we once loved is now dust. Decayed and broken down, brushed away or remaining to nourish what is new. We cannot piece what we have lost back together but we can cherish what is left. A mango tree takes revenge on the residents of a share house. A pastor’s daughter falls in love with a new parishioner. A young woman bears witness to destruction she cannot stop. Showcasing the best fiction, poetry and non-fiction from one of the oldest creative writing programs in Australia, this collection celebrates resilience and the parts of the world we refuse to leave behind.
