Conversations with the Chair Toowoomba

Older Queenslanders have a wealth of knowledge, insight and lived experience that can help shape better policies, services and communities. Join Council on the Ageing Queensland (COTA Queensland) for a community “Conversation with the Chair” designed to hear directly from older people about the issues that matter most. These sessions provide an opportunity to share your experiences, raise emerging concerns, and help identify the priorities that should guide COTA Queensland’s policy and advocacy work across the state. Whether it’s access to services, cost of living, housing, digital inclusion, health care, transport or community connection - your voice can help influence positive change for older Queenslanders. Come along, be heard, and help shape the future of ageing well in Queensland. Who should attend: Older Queenslanders, carers, community members, and anyone interested in improving outcomes for older people. Why attend: • Share your lived experience • Raise issues affecting your community • Contribute to future policy and advocacy priorities • Connect with others who care about building age-friendly communities Your voice matters. Join the conversation and help shape the future for older Queenslanders.
