This Micro-credentialing project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government What would I be asked in the application form? What details will I need ready? What type of audit will I need - and what can I expect? The Applying to Become a Registered NDIS Provider micro training is designed to help people get a clear picture on the application process and find answers to what it would look like for their service. It clarifies the process steps before, during and after a provider would press submit. The session is free to attended and is being hosted locally in collaboration with CheckUP's NDIS Connect Program and the Paul Myatt Community Centre. What you will learn: • The types of questions asked in applying • Audits, ongoing cycles and what they look like. • How to navigate worker screening - the steps for non-registered providers and sole traders • Who is seen as Key Personnel and what is used to prove suitability • Verification vs Certification – what decides your path and where you should fit This is a short, practical micro training aimed at NDIS providers thinking about registering. No previous quality or systems experience is needed. The learning is packed with tools for you to use during the session and to takeaway including: • A Scoping profile for your service to collect information ready to enter • Key Personnel suitability questionnaire and acknowledgement • Worker screening record keeping tools for risk assessed roles and workers • 60+ links to other templates, checklists, and guides captured in your HELPr action plan Every person successfully completing the micro-course will receive a Micro-Credential in NDIS Registration Processes All those registered will also have online access until October 31 with all content and videos that are covered during the day.
