We’ll also cover essential Varroa mite management techniques to keep your bees healthy and thriving.

Whether you’re a beginner or just bee-curious, this workshop will give you the confidence and knowledge to start your own beekeeping journey! Jamie Illistom is the owner of Wombat Way Honey and a Wollondilly local. He has been a beekeeper for over 8 years and currently runs multiple apiaries across the broader southern highland area with over 150 hives. Feel free to come along, pick his brains and try a sample or 2 of some of the wonderful local blends of honey.
